Quick-release exhaust extraction fittings.

Quick-release 100mm exhaust extraction couplings.

Available as male, (fits to duct) and female, (fits to hose).

These couplings allow multiple extraction points to be fitted at various locations around the workshop which can be shared with fewer hoses, hence avoiding several hoses dangling from the ceiling, getting in the way.

Generally these couplings will reduce the overall cost of an extraction installation. We find that although extraction may be required at several locations around the workshop, it is very rare that more than 2 will be needed simultaneously at any one time. Normally just one single hose & cone assembly and one twin cone assembly will be sufficient, even for a large workshop with 6-8 inlet points. If it isn't, you can always buy one more, but it's infinitely better than having 6-8 hoses hanging from the ceiling or cluttering up the workshop. It is also worth bearing in mind that steel duct is around £3.00 per metre while extraction hose is £25.00 per metre, so it's best to keep the hose to a minimum to keep the overall cost down.
