In response to requests from customers for ready-made soundproof booths for Fuchs Rolling Road Test Benches, FUCHS have introduced a range of high quality insulated cabins that are supplied as "flat pack" kits.

The soundproof booths from FUCHS are designed by industrial soundproofing specialists and feature high rates of sound isolation, H/D double glazed windows, double doors with seals & windows and integral ventilation & extraction ducting to ensure optimum airflow throughout the cabin.

They are supplied as a 3-sided unit (designed to back on to a wall) and are constructed using a heavy-duty interlocking metallic framework and specially designed acoustic absorbent panels. Each panel has 2 exterior faces of 0.6mm thick steel and 2 internal layers of 30mm thick high-density absorbent mineral wool. The reinforced version has additional central 2mm thick steel sheet for additional sound isolation. Windows can be specified as required at no extra cost. Double main doors are supplied as standard glazed with type 44.2 laminated glass. 3 sizes are available: the largest holds up to twelve people, the smallest holds up to six people. All sizes can be ordered in standard or reinforced versions. The reinforced version should be ordered where race bikes are being tested or where a high degree of sound insulation is required (e.g. where neighbours or customers are close by). Prices are comparable to traditionally constructed booths but with higher sound insulation & integrated airflow.
